With nearly five decades devoted to the art and science of skincare, Katayoun Amjadi is the visionary founder, heart, and guiding force behind Eden Day Spa in San Anselmo. Her passion began in childhood, inspired by her father—a respected physician who treated severely injured skin—sparking a lifelong fascination with skin healing and clinical care.
Katayoun earned her esthetic license in London through a rigorous European training system. Moving to the United States, she worked as a lead esthetician in Washington, D.C., before transitioning to Southern California as a Medical Esthetician alongside Beverly Hills’ premier dermatologists and plastic surgeons. A pioneer in California’s emerging medical-esthetic industry, she established medical spas in West Hollywood and Encino, working at the intersection of medicine and esthetics.
Continually traveling across Europe to master cutting-edge skincare modalities, Katayoun founded Eden Day Spa in 1998 to bring world-class European traditions to Marin County. Today, she personally mentors the Eden team, ensuring every treatment combines advanced results with restorative sanctuary care.
